Elie Wiesel wouldn't talk or write about being in Hitler's camps for ten years. The first book he wrote was And The World Remained Silent (Un di velt hot geshvign) a900-page memoir in Yiddish. He then rewrote it in French, then it was translated into English and published as the book Night Night has been translated into 30 diffenet languages.
